He was born September 7, 2002, in Preston, Idaho. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Misty Porter, Franklin; grandparents, Doug and Debbie Porter, Franklin; Jim and Trudy Shearer, Blanding, Utah; great- grandparents, Robert and Henriette Haworth, Franklin; Fern S. Porter, Franklin; Marcelle Carter, Lyman, Wyoming; by a great-great-grandmother, Anne Hiller, Salt Lake City, Utah; and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his great- grandparents, Bill Porter, Clair Carter, and Claude and Bernice Shearer. We are grateful for each beautiful moment we were able to share with Michael James. His precious spirit was felt by all. He will be greatly missed, and our lives will forever be changed. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, at noon in the Franklin Stake Center with Bishop Doug Porter conducting. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
