He married Odessa Smith. They had been married 59 years. They have three sons, Martin, Craig and Jim, and a daughter, D'Ann. He was a good member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed music, sports and farming. Everyone enjoyed his fun sense of humor. He will be missed by his wife, children, 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a brother, Wells, and three sisters, Harriett King, Merna Clegg and Barbara Hales. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen and Youngs, and three sisters, Dora, Blanche and Margaret. Funeral services will take place Sept. 24, 2002, at noon in the Thatcher Ward Chapel. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home in Preston and Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Thatcher Ward chapel. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.
