She was born July 8, 1941, in Burlington, Wis., the daughter of Adolph and Marie Anderson Fiegel. She grew up in Silver Lake, Wis. She married Doug Brand and had one child. They were later divorced. She then married Leonard Pickens and they had one son. They moved to Pocatello and were later divorced. She stayed in Pocatello and worked at the Pocatello Carpenters Credit Union as an office manager. She worked there for several years. She then moved to Preston where she worked at Herff Jones in accounts receivable. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marie (Bernard) Schaetten; a brother, David Fiegel; a daughter, Deana (Randy) Bullington; a son, Lonny Pickens and two grandchildren, Jeff and Gary Bullington. She was preceded in death by her father. “She loved the mountains, now she will be a part of them forever.” She was known as the “Hummingbird Lady” to her friends. There will be no funeral services. It was her wish that if people wanted to send flowers, to instead donate to a cancer institution of their choice. Arrangements are by Webb Funeral Home, Preston.
