She was born August 29, 1931 in Preston, Idaho to Aram Poulson and Lucy May Allen. LaRue was raised in Swan Lake, Idaho on her father"s ranch. She graduated from Utah State University with a teaching degree. She taught school in Clearfield, and Bingham Canyon. LaRue married Thomas Alfred Lemmon in the Logan Temple on May 24, 1957. She served a LDS mission to the Central States Mission. Her greatest life calling came in the rearing of her children. She gave up her teaching career to become a full time mom, and she never looked back. Mom was a great teacher, she never spoke an unkind word in her life, she taught her children by example. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She loved to knit, and gave away many afghans, hot pads, and baby blankets. She has been reunited with her loving husband, a son, Colin and daughter, Edna Louise. She will greatly miss her grandchildren. Surviving are James Allen Lemmon, Thomas Kelly (Connie) Lemmon, Edward (Marlene) Lemmon, Vera (Lance) Schiffman, Lucy (Chris) Casey; nine grandchildren, Brandi, Bobbi, Jake, Zachary, Courtney, Sarah, Marshall, Victoria, and Brenna; one sister, Rhea (Hank) Shea and her mother-in-law, Edna Lemmon. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield 10th Ward, 275 No. 200 W. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist"s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Weston, Idaho.
