Clem was born July 30, 1901 at Mink Creek, ID the son of Rasmus and Marie Magnalyn Hansen Rasmussen Jr. Mr. Rasmussen married Alba Miles on August 15, 1935 at Preston, ID. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Clem has lived in Mink Creek, Thatcher and Grace. He has been a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the Grace LDS Third Ward. He had served as Sunday School President, Young Mens Mutual President, Seventy's Quorum President and as a Home Teacher. He was honored as the Grand Marshal of the Caribou County Fair and Rodeo in 1991. He enjoyed Baseball, Horse Pulling, Horse Back Riding and Boxing. Clem is survived by his wife Alba of Grace; three sons and two daughters and their spouses; Royce and Sharon Rasmussen of Elmo, UT; Lloyd and Linda Rasmussen of Grace; Craig and Cheryl Rasmussen of Soda Springs; Carol JoAnn Call of Pocatello and Debra and Max Hemmert of Soda Springs, also 24 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and a stepbrother Ed Seal, Hazelton, ID. He was Preceded in death by six infant brothers, an infant sister Ellen, two brothers Marvin and Orson, a stepbrother Fred Seal and six sisters, Annie Wilde, Sarah Rasmussen, Bessie Hawks, Ila Bybee Christensen, Thelma Hansen and Lydia Thomas. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center with Bishop Crae Williams conducting. Friends may call at the Sims Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the Grace LDS stake center from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Thatcher Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home.
