When asked what does "Keep your face to the light" mean?, she said "The light of JESUS CHRIST." Ada was a member of the Clearfield 5th Ward, where she served numerous positions. The family would like to thank those who cared for her at Heritage Park Care in Roy and Winter Gardens, Layton and her neighbors. Ada was born November 21, 1907, in Preston, Idaho, to Leo and Malinda May Adams Mecham. She married John Harold Worsley in 1928. They later divorced. She married her eternal companion, Russell C. Nielsen in December, 1937. Their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple. Ada became a registered nurse in 1929, graduating from Dee Hospital. She later served as a field nurse for the Mexican and United States Government. She retired from HAFB Hospital in 1962. She resided in Clearfield for 50 years. Ada left a very loving family to join loving family with open arms in heaven. She had an eye for beauty. She was very artistic and painted the patterns for her quilts. She loved nature and beautiful flowers. She loved being with her family most of all. She was known for her gracious loving ways. She is survived by her son, DeVon Mecham Worsley, Layton; grandsons, Walter W. Hoeltje, St. Charles, Ill.; Donald A. Hoeltje, Laguna, Niguel, Calif.; Keith A. Worsley, Mesquite, Nev.; and Steven B. Worsley, Clearfield. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Nielsen and great-grandson, Sollie Newell Worsley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the Clearfield 5th Ward Center St. Chapel, with Bishop Max J. Garlock officiating. Friends and family will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 S. State St. and at the church one hour prior to services. Interment Logan Cemetery following services.
