He was born May 7, 1914, in Preston, the son of James and Dorthea Christensen Jensen who lived in Mink Creek, Idaho. He married his eternal sweetheart, Norma Hanni, on April 15, 1946, in Preston. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple in 1951. He loved people old and young. He lived on a farm in Mink Creek and owned his own milk trucking business. People would ride to town with him. Many children who missed the bus would catch a ride to town with Freaman. After he would double deck the milk cans, ladies and men would ride with him to town and he would haul their merchandise back for them without pay. He ran many errands and could lift two 80-pound milk cans at once and throw them on the truck. He built a new home at 442 N. State St. in Preston and lived there when he turned the truck over to Wayne. He and Norma spent 23 winters in Mesa, Ariz., after he retired. He loved to fish and hunt, and he had horses for most of his life that he enjoyed very much. He was a high priest at the time of his death. He held many callings in the LDS Church throughout his life. He was very committed to attending his church meetings and - even though he did not feel well last Sunday - he attended his meetings. He is survived by his wife Norma, of Preston; a son, Wayne B. Boyack, Preston; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and by a brother, Rex Jensen, of Boise, Idaho. He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky F. Jensen, his parents, and by 14 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 N. State, with Bishop David Fryar conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Webb Funeral Home and Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Mink Creek Cemetery.
