She was residing in Boise, Idaho, for the past 17 years, to be close to her children. She was born November 30, 1907, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Ammon and Jane Rozeltha Martin Earley. She and her brother, John, were raised in Preston, where she was blessed and baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She began school in Preston, and later the family moved to Blackfoot, Idaho, where she finished her education. It was there she met her husband, Holley Eugene Hone. Her family later moved back to Preston, and Gene followed. Fanny and Gene were married Dec. 10, 1924, and were sealed in the Logan, Utah temple. They raised their family in Preston, where they owned a family business, Martin and Hone Auto. Fanny worked in the Relief Society and the Young Women in the Preston Second Ward. Fanny was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Jerry, her parents, her brother and one grandson. She is survived by her children, Bill Hone, Twin Falls, Idaho, Doris Leatham, Keith Hone, Cleon Hone, all of Boise, Idaho, and by Larry Hone, Sacramento, California. She has 25 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, August 4, 2000, in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. First S., Preston. Friends may call tonight, Thursday, Aug. 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
