He was 59 years old. He was born Feb. 28, 1941, in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Clawson Hewitt and Elma Gray Bennett. He married Joan Woodward on Jan. 21, 1960, in Franklin. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Throughout the important years of his education, he attended schools in Franklin, Preston and Pocatello. Linden spent his life working in sales, traveling through the U.S. He loved his family, traveling, the mountains and the great outdoors. Surviving are his wife Joan of Franklin, Idaho, five sons and their spouses, Laine and Gail, of Roy, Utah, Blake, Preston, Idaho, Vince and Theresa, Greenville, Mich., Shawn and Julie, Richmond, Utah, Shane and Alyson, Litchfield, Ill.; eight grandsons and two granddaughters. Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters, Gary Bennett, Randall Bennett and Klerice Lindstrom, all of Minnesota; Christine Kruger and Sandra Sabbe, both of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Norman and one daughter, Chantell. Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at the Franklin, Idaho, 2nd Ward Chapel. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at the ward chapel in Franklin, Idaho. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
