He was born Feb. 8, 1964, in Pocatello, Idaho, the son of Harold Edwards and Sylvia Faye Curzon Hess. He served an LDS mission to Iowa. He married Holly Thomson on Sept. 12, 1985, in the Logan Temple. He was a software installer with his MCSE and worked as a pre-press and computer manager at The Herald Journal. He transferred to the Daily Times-Call in Longmont, Colo., and ended his career in Pennsylvania. He was a volunteer instructor for the National Bowhunters Association. He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Holly, Preston; two daughters and one son, Heather, Tyler Harold, and Alyssa Hess, all of Preston; his parents, Harold and Sylvia Hess, Grantsville, Utah; one sister and four brothers, Shauna (Neil) Twitchell, Bountiful, Brent (Kimberly) Hess, Tooele, Bradley (Heather) Hess, Raleigh, N.C., Michael Hess, Grantsville, and Nathan Hess, Grantsville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 N. State, with Bishop Cleve Esplin conducting. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Montpelier, Idaho, Cemetery.
