Dahl was born January 26, 1919, at Thatcher, Idaho, the son of Guy Wilson and Lora Bennett Robbins. Mr. Robbins had been a lifelong resident of Thatcher. He was educated at Cove Elementary at Thatcher and Thatcher Central High School. Dahl was married to Naomi Revoir on Nov. 3, 1945, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He was a high priest in the Thatcher LDS Ward, where he served as ward clerk, elder's quorum president, counselor in the bishopric, high counselor, bishop of the Thatcher Ward, stake clerk, Sunday school president, home teacher; he was faithful in all his callings. Dahl also served as secretary and director of the Thatcher Irrigation Co., for 50 years, school bus driver for District No. 148 for 33 years. He had also been a member of the Caribou County Mounted Posse. He loved his family, he enjoyed hunting, training horses; but his real enjoyment was a good team. Dahl is survived by his wife, Naomi, of Thatcher; two sons and two daughters, Randy G. and Marie Robbins, Kurt D. and Annett Robbins, Lisa and Neil Hubbard, all of Grace, and Christine and Dee Johnson of Iona; also 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dixie and Darwin Weaver of Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Audrey Bassett, Clarice Revoir and Elaine Peck. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at noon at the Thatcher LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Sims Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday at the Thatcher chapel from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Thatcher Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home.
