She was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Winder, Idaho, the daughter of Thomas Condie and Alta Maughan Palmer. She married Raymond R. Hobbs Sept. 5, 1935, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died July 16, 1988. She was a life-long member of the LDS Church having served in all the organizations. She was a Pink Lady for many years. Mother had a love for the farm and worked side-by-side with Dad. She loved the crops and the animals. She is survived by a son and three daughters, Richard D. (Lois) Hobbs, Preston, Helen H. (Nolan) Robbins, Weston, Idaho, Louise (Melvin) Roberts, Preston, and Valyn (Michael) Andersen, Preston; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Dean (Wanda) Palmer, Preston, Alta (Jay) Tilbey, Burley, Idaho, Della (Vince) Buttars, Logan, Utah, Quinton (Darlene) Palmer, Salt Lake City, Utah; two sisters-in-law, Harriet Palmer and June Palmer, both of Preston; and brother-in-law Glenn Perry, Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Geralynn Keller; son-in-law Glenn Keller; grandsons Jared Ray Robbins, Cameron (Sam) Keller and Ryan Roberts; two brothers and one sister, Shirley M. Palmer, J Leo Palmer and Beulah Perry. Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000, in the Preston 7th Ward chapel, 155 N. 200 West, Preston, Idaho, with Bishop Thane Goodrich conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Webb Funeral Home and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
