Palmer, 72, Idaho Falls, Idaho, St. George, Utah, and former Preston, Idaho, resident, died Nov. 11, 2000, at the Dixie Medical Center in St. George, Utah. He was the son of William G. and Annie Gassman Palmer. He was born on July 6, 1928, in Preston, Idaho. He married Phyllis Cole on May 11, 1951. To this eternal union two sons were born, Alan Clyde and Bradley Cole Palmer. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of Idaho Falls, Idaho and St. George, Utah; his sons, Alan Clyde Palmer, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Bradley Cole (Connie) Palmer, Idaho Falls, Idaho; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother, William G. Palmer, St. George, Utah; and a sister, LaPriel Barraclough, Sandy, Utah. He was preceded in death by a brother, Marlow G. Palmer, and by two sisters, Helen Bunker and Edna Richards. Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, in the Preston 8th Ward chapel, 213 S. 2nd East. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
