She was born February 18, 1938, in Preston, Idaho, to Walter and Loverill Beutler. She married Edward J Winward on November 14, 1956, in the LDS Logan Utah Temple. Together they raised eight children. Margaret grew up in Dayton, Idaho where she graduated from the West Side High School and then attended the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Throughout her life she was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in which she served as president and in the presidencies of the Relief Society. She especially enjoyed teaching primary age girls. She enjoyed a variety of activities, especially designing and making clothing for her children and grandchildren. After her children were in school, she worked as a seamstress for the Osmond Studio and the BYU Costume Shop. She was a devoted person whose positive, cheerful attitude, inspite of increasing challenging health problems, served as a model of the full life. Memories of her special laughter will lift the spirits of those who shared her life. Some of her rewards will be the lasting love and devotion of her family and the welcome of "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into my rest." Survivors include her husband; Edward, and their children, Kirk Edward Winward (Colette) of Salt Lake City, Karrie Elder (Thomas) of Orem, Clayton B Winward (Tawny) of Orem, Jill Ostraff (Mark) of South Lyon, Mich, Kristi Matthews (Geoff) of West Jordan, Rand J Winward (Deborah) of West Jordan, Rick W Winward (Sarah) of Houston, Tex, Troy Brant Winward (Aimee) of Houston, Tex. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, and seven brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3rd, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Canyon View Stake Center, 575 E. 800 North, Orem. Family and friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 E. 800 North, Orem and Tuesday at the Canyon View Stake Center from 9:45-10:45 a.m., prior to the services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery
