He was born August 6, 1908 in Weston, Idaho to Fredrick Robert and Idoshia Pearl Hauskins Campbell. He married Margaret Fifield on July 23, 1927 in Preston, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He was an active member of the Weston LDS Ward where he served in many callings. He is survived by his five children, Boyd (Bunny) Campbell, Logan, Utah; Renee Olson, Bountiful, Utah; Patricia (Gary) Fisher, Clifton, Idaho; Roger (Connie) Campbell, Ogden, Utah; Paul (Shelly) Campbell, Weston, Idaho; 29 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Marr Dahle, Logan, Utah and Carrie Fife, Boise, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret on March 16, 1993, his son-in-law, Lorrin Olson, three grandsons: Kelly Boyd Campbell, Louis Drakos, and Jay Lee Campbell, his parents, and brothers and sisters: Susy, Fredrick, Nathan, Annie, Emma, Nora, Fannie, Robert, Hazel, Dewey, Clark, Walter, Tiffen, Selma, Reed, Parley, Ruth, Eva and Marva. He married Rita Hartley in 1994. She passed away in 1998. Dad was a lifelong farmer and took pride in everything he did. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and particularly salmon fishing on the Oregon Coast with family and friends. He enjoyed his grandchildren"s visits to his home in his last years. He will be missed by everyone. The family would like to express special thanks to Billy and Heidi Lazano for their care of Oscar in his last days at home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2002, 11 a.m. at the Weston First Ward Chapel with Bishop Glade Schvaneveldt conducting. There will be a viewing for family and friends at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and at the Weston Ward Relief Society Room at 9:30-10:30 a.m. before the funeral. Internment will be held in the Weston Cemetery.
