She was born June 11, 1903 in Turner, Idaho, a daughter of Moulbourne P. and E. Bertha Bennett Greene. Her family moved to Riverdale, Idaho where she met Milton Mecham Neeley. They were married April 28, 1920 in the Logan LDS Temple. Later, they moved to Ogden. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held several positions. She loved the Gospel and taught by precept and example. Eva had worked for numerous businesses. During World War II, she took many welfare children and teenagers into her home who needed love and help. Following her husband"s death, she bought and operated the Neeley Nursing Home for 22 years. She was kind and loving with each patient. She worked very hard all of her life and in later years kept her hands busy with handwork. Eva was loved by all who knew her, as she gave love to all. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. We will treasure our memories of her. Surviving are two sons and five daughters, Cyral Milton (Marion) Neeley, Salt Lake City; Alton Moulbourne (Arline) Neeley, and Needra Bigler, both of Washington Terrace; Bertha (Earl) Cherry, Layton; Launna "Lou" (Cleve) Albiston, Harrisville; Darma (Jimmy) Casper, Ogden; Jeneane (Everett) Browning, Roy; 33 grandchildren, 108 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great grandchildren. Eva is also survived by one brother and one sister, Lawrence Greene, Gilbert, Ariz.; Zina Stevens, Washington Terrace. She was preceded in death by three children, three brothers and one sister. The family expresses their appreciation to Wasatch Care Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist"s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Bishop Wilford Geddes officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Riverdale, Idaho Cemetery.
