Maxine was born March 17, 1924, at Preston, Idaho, the daughter of Farald K. and Meda I. Nelson Robinson. She was married to Delmar “Duke” H. Hansen on June 3, 1941, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. Mr. Hansen passed away January 29, 1998. Maxine lived in Preston, and graduated from Preston High School. They moved to Soda Springs in 1967. She had been a bank teller for Idaho First and West One for 17 years, retiring in June of 1989. She was a member of the Soda Springs LDS Second Ward, and was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She liked to play pinochle, read, shop, day trips, music, singing and dancing. She is survived by one son and two daughters and their spouses, Robbie D. and Kelly A. Hansen of Soda Springs, Cheryl and Dennis Douglass of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Nikki and Bob Zombro, Phoenix, Ariz.; also nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Darald Robinson and Leah Almond, both of Salt Lake City, Utah. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 1, 2002, at noon at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. Friends may call at the Sims Funeral Home this evening, Thursday, Feb. 28 from 7 to 8 p.m., and on Friday at the stake center from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home.
