She was born August 2, 1911, in Richmond, Utah, the daughter of Alma and Clara Petersen Spackman. She married George W. Hobbs; he passed away in 1946. She married Robert Clayton, and he also preceded her in death in 1986. She loved gardening, and she was always helping others. She was an expert in crafts. She worked for years at U&I Furniture in Preston. She is survived by her son, William G. (Josephine) Hobbs, Boise; by one grandchild; and by four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands and by a brother, Faron Spackman. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at the Richmond, Utah Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon to 12:30 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, Idaho.
