She was born August 12, 1952, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of John Wesley and Betty Jean Hayes Coltrin. She served and LDS mission to Portland, Oregon. She married Donald N. Patton on June 21, 1979, in the Logan Utah, temple. She graduated from Brigham Young University and was an LPN in Preston. She loved genealogy, scrap booking and her family. She had many health problems, which she courageously battled for the last nine and a half years. She is survived by her husband, Donald, of Preston; by a son and three daughters, Donald Jack, Caroline Rebecca, Anna Lee and Emily Jean Patton, all of Preston; by her mother, Betty Jean Coltrin, Franklin, Idaho; by four sisters and a brother, Bette Dawn (Richard) Hogabaum, Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Carren Iseri, Ontario, Oregon, Janet (Craig) Haslam, Preston, Deborah (Steve) Wilcox, Chubbuck, Idaho, and Ronald W. (Vicki) Coltrin, Logan, Utah. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Coltrin. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. First S., Preston, with Bishop Robert Miller conducting. Friends may call Friday, May 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the stake center, and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., also at the stake center. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery. Arrangements are by Webb Funeral Home.
