He was born May 13, 1922, in Cove, Utah, a son of Owen E. Larsen and Della Biggs Larsen Van Noy. He was educated at North Cache High and attended USAC in Logan. Dale was a Veteran of WW II. He was in the 8th Air Force, flying 27 missions over Europe as a gunner on a B17 Flying Fortress. He married Margene Wickham on Feb. 7, 1944, in Preston, Idaho, while on active duty. After his Honorable Discharge they lived in Franklin for a short time before moving to Roy, Utah, where they bought a new home. Dale began employment at Hill Air Force Base from which he retired. Dale could fix anything, and he spent many hours working on cars and dune buggies and other machines. He was a first rate photographer and shared pictures with his family. Surviving are his brother, Garth Larsen (Shirley) of Smithfield, Utah, and a sister, Ruth (Ken) Larsen of Orem, Utah, and many nieces and nephews.
