She was born March 28, 1917, to Ray Elmo and Hazel Cunningham Bingham. She married Hugh Perry who died in an accident at a young age. She then married Howard Wheeler. He also preceded her in death. Velma loved to fish and go camping. She also loved spending time with her family and visiting with them. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a son, Phillip Perry; three brothers, Roy, Don, and Paul Bingham; and by two sisters, Edith Pearce, and Lucille Hebdon. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, March 31, at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, in Preston with President Doug Roper conducting. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cornish Cemetery Published in the Logan Herald Journal from 3/29/2007 - 4/4/2007.
