He was born March 14, 1923, in Franklin, Idaho, to John Wilkinson and Leone Petterborg Olsen. Nyile married Colleen Ward on June 14, 1947, in Las Vegas, Nev. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Nyile was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and his family. He had a great sense of humor and loved laughing and making others laugh and have a good time. Nyile loved his country and served in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Colleen of Franklin; his children, Adrene Colman of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kevin (Sydney) Olsen of Franklin, Cory (JoLynne) Olsen of Franklin, Alona (Jerry) Eskelson of Preston; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Darris (Wilma) Olsen of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and a sister, Fauneen Ringer of Keizer, Ore. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, March 30, in the Franklin Stake Center with Bishop Lynn Womack conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, in Preston, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
