She was born July 30, 1908 in Franklin, Idaho, the daughter of John Lance and Maude Biggs Adamson. On December 30, 1929, Charlotte married Neldon Johnson Bell in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. They celebrated almost 70 years of marriage before Neldon passed away on July 2, 1998. She was raised and educated in Franklin and Preston, Idaho. She rode her horse to school each day and the horse would return home on its own. She also lived in Richmond, Utah; Grand Island, Nebraska for 14 years and in Ogden. She and Ned enjoyed their winter home in Mesa, Arizona for over 30 years. Charlotte was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She retired from the Internal Revenue Services following many years of service. Charlotte was a member of the Elks Does, a bridge and pinochle club, and a bowling league. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling. She enjoyed the time spent making afghans for every grandchild. The family expresses special thanks to the staff at The Gardens and Vista Care Hospice. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Stanley Ned (Renate) Bell, North Ogden; Boyd Adamson (Marilyn) Bell, Price, UT; Geraldine Bell (Howard) Gibson, Harrisville; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Alice Blair and four brothers, Merrill, Henry, Lance and Boyd Adamson. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Email condolences to the family at lom@lindquistmortuary.com Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
