He was born December 28, 1905 to Arthur William and Evadyna Henderson Hart in Farmington, Utah. Mickey married Helen Smith May 31, 1939 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mickey grew up in Preston, Idaho. He graduated from Utah State University. He and his brother Mark wrote the USU pep song, "Hail the Utah Aggies". He attended Chicago Musical College (Northwestern University) for two years. Mickey taught school at USU, McCammon High, Idaho and Cyprus High in Magna, Utah. His dance band played over Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. He founded Hart Bros. Music. He wrote many songs: The Heavens Were Opened, If Christ Should Come Tomorrow, He That Hath Clean Hands, They Found Him in the Temple, I Walked in God's Garden, God Knows, My Mother's Prayer, Here's To Utah. He served an LDS mission to California and an 8-year stake mission. He served in many church callings. He loved missionary wor! k. He has 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He is survived by his wife: Helen, children: Melodee, Richard (Sandy), Kathy (Doug), Michael (Jody); brothers: Jed, Newt, Bret; sisters: Adina Evadyna, Rhea, Arlette, Elna, Ada, Jocelyn. Preceded in death by parents and brothers: Arthur, Halo, Mark, Reed, Joel, Newell, Wendell, Neal; Sisters: Sabina, Hermoine. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at the Wilford Stake, 3080 South 1765 East. Friends may call on Sunday, April 22, from 6-8 p.m. at the Wilford Stake and on Monday from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
