He was born on Mother's Day, May 8, 1961, to Cecil Lindley and Linda Nell Anderson. He was raised in Paradise, Utah, where he worked closely with his beloved grandfather on the Diamond M Ranch - a family farm. He graduated from Sky View High and also achieved the recognition of becoming an Eagle Scout. Deloy had the opportunity of attending the National Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge , Pa. He took Jennifer Auger's hand in marriage Nov. 22, 1985, and they shared four children, Ashley (Jason) Henrie, Joshua Lindley, Hollie (Demetrie) Bithoulkas and Bryant Auger. He was an outstanding dairyman and competitive modified hillclimb snowmobiler. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed family and friends and being a family man, putting his kids and loved ones first. In 2000 Deloy relocated his family to Preston, Idaho, where he obtai! ned a CDL and put in many miles over the road. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Myrtle Lindley and Lenore Olsen. He is survived by his grandfather, Marion Olsen; his parents; four children; one granddaughter, Allison Henrie; two sisters, Cinde (Bill) Young of Paradise, Janna (Steve) Gibbs of Avon; and Jeremy (Chantel) Lindley of Logan; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, April 3, at the Allen-Hall Mortuary. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Friends and family are welcome to come and share memories of his life. Interment in the Paradise City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net.
