Visitation will be at 12:00 noon, Thursday, April 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Oak Knoll Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm. A graveside service and interment will take place at 1:00, Friday, April 13, at Los Banos Cemetery in Los Banos. Anna Mae was born January 4, 1931 in Mink Creek, Idaho to Torval and Anna Wilde. She graduated from Utah State Agricultural College; B.A. in English with honors and taught high school for three years in Preston, Idaho. Anna Mae married Elmo G. Leishman on June 22, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions. She performed volunteer work at local schools, and sang at many church and community functions and taught piano to dozens of children. Anna Mae was the Merced County Branch Librarian in Los Banos for 13 years, retiring in 1989. She h! as lived in Santa Maria, Calif. since 1994. She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Kirk and Robin, of Santa Maria; Bret and Nadine, of Woodland, Calif.; Ryan of Woodland, Calif. and Wade and Jolynn of Nampa, Idaho, ten grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and her brother and sister-in-law, Merlin and Naomi Wilde, of Mink Creek, Idaho.
