She was born March 12, 1918, in Logan, Utah, the daughter of Franklin Richards and Bertha Cordelia Kent Peart. She married Wallace Arthur Nielson on Aug. 25, 1941, in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 2000. She enjoyed flower gardening very much. She is survived by five sons and three daughters, W. Craig Nielson, Brigham City, Utah, Kermit T. Nielson, Blackfoot, Idaho, Vance Nielson, Preston, Lance P. Nielson, Logan, Utah, Marta S. N. Owen, Corinth, Texas, Geri N. Golightly, Weston, Idaho, Lori N. Royalty, Corinth, Texas, and Peter L. Nielson, Aurora, Colo.; 52 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; by four sisters, Nina, Donna, Marba and Rosma, and by a brother, Vaude. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 1st S. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Webb Funeral Home and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Paul, Idaho Cemetery.
