He was born December 13, 1925, in Preston, Idaho, a son of David Earl and Lilia Irene Millard Kendall. He married his eternal sweetheart, Florence Gayle Almond, on his birthday, December 13, 1943. Along with the automobile business, he and his brothers farmed together in Oxford, Idaho, and later with the help of his wife and seven daughters, developed the strong family ties as they all worked side by side on their own farm. He was a veteran of World War II. Cluff was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and being creative in his workshop. As a dad and grandpa, he taught lessons of hard work, endurance, patience and honesty. He will be remembered for his strong will, the love and support rendered to his family and friends, and the friendships nurtured with his concern and genuine service.
