She was born April 6, 1909, in Iona, Idaho, the daughter of Chancy and Martha Ann Barlow Earl. She married Lloyd Edwin Fackrell on July 26, 1938, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died Dec. 23, 1943. She married Virlow C. Petersen on April 20, 1946, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He died Aug. 6, 1984. Orma was a registered nurse and homemaker. She loved gardening, sewing, being with her family, traveling and driving her car. She served many positions in the LDS Church, including Relief Society president, teacher in Sunday School and Primary, and positions in Stake Young Women's. She is survived by four daughters and spouses; Judy (Arlo) Larsen, Preston, Idaho, Sharon (Harvey) Hatch, Gold Beach, Ore., Verla (Lee) Valentine, Boise, Idaho, and Mona (Marty) Merz, Orem, Utah; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one brother, Grant (Lola) Earl. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thayne, and two sisters, Sarah and Martha. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Idaho Falls 32nd Ward chapel, 2349 Virlow Drive in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Webb Funeral Home in Preston and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery.
