Ryan was born April 6, 1966, at Bremerton, Wash., a son of Warren S. and Joyce Poulsen Pugh. He was an Eagle Scout, having completed every merit badge in the Scout book. He served a mission to Kobe, Japan. He graduated from Ricks and then BYU with a Japanese major and a minor in finance. Ryan was preparing to enter law school soon. He owned a car dealership in Utah County. Nothing slowed Ryan down, he was always on the go and took every challenge in life with great gusto. Ryan is survived by his father and mother of Lynden, Wash.; brothers, W. Kelly (Wendy) Spokane, Wash., Roger A. (LeAnn) Ephrata, Wash., and Troy J. (Leslie) Orem, Utah, and seven nephews and nieces. Ryan had an infectious smile and great personality and will really be missed by his family, friends and associates. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold J. and Velma Keller Poulsen; his aunt, Alenda Poulsen; and his paternal grandparents, Gilbert F. and Luzena Wolfkill Pugh. His funeral will be held in Orem on Friday, Jan 26. He will be buried in the Preston, Idaho Cemetery by his maternal great-grandparents, Adam A. and Elvena Christensen Keller. A short graveside service will be at the Preston, Idaho Cemetery on Saturday. Those wishing to attend should meet at Webb Funeral Home in Preston at 2 p.m. The family would like to invite the Keller, Christensen and Poulsen families from Preston, Mink Creek, Logan, and surrounding areas who are in any way related to them to attend the graveside service and a short get together afterwards at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston to become reacquainted.
