Julie was born July 10, 1971, in Logan, Utah, to Wayne and Reva Sorenson Boyack. She was the youngest of six children. She grew up in Preston, where she attended and graduated from Preston High School and LDS Seminary where she served on the seminary council. She married her sweetheart, Shane Foster Gordon, on June 26, 1992, in the Logan LDS Temple. Together, they have two sons, Dalton and Jace Gordon. Julie had a strong testimony and her family and her Savior were the most important loves of her life. She was a peacemaker in her family, always wanting everyone to be happy. She loved her brothers and sisters and being together for family parties, where she was the movie and picture taker, creating lasting memories for her children and family. She was also a caregiver, helping take care of her Grandma Jensen with her dad. Julie has many friends who were very important to her. Julie enjoyed her many church callings, the latest being the chorister in the Relief Society. Julie also spent time and showed love with other children with cancer by going to visit Primary Children's Hospital and the Make a With Foundation. She shared her story and gave advice and hope to those who needed it. Julie was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was dearly loved by her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Julie is survived by her husband, Shane Gordon; and two sons, Dalton and Jace, of Preston; her parents, Wayne and Reva Boyack; brothers, Bob (Olivia) Boyack; Curt (Julie Anne) Boyack; Bryan (Christi) Boyack; two sisters, Dianne (Jeff) Seamons and Tammy (Kevin Beck) Boyack; all of the Preston area; her parents-in-law, Mary Capparelli and Brent Gordon; brothers-in-law, Spencer (Trissa) Gordon; Shawn Gordon and Steven (Tammy) Gordon. She is also survived by her grandmother, Norma Jensen, and her step-grandmother, Troy Boyack. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chessney and Arminta Sorenson; and Freeman Jensen and Bert Boyack. Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday, July 10, 2007, in the Preston South Stake Center 55 East 1st South, in Preston, with Bishop Elmo Krogue conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, in Preston, and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
