He was born April 13, 1927, in Preston, Idaho, the son of George W. and Leah Woodhouse Davis. He served in the Army during World War II. He married Florence Waddoups on Nov. 1, 1956, in the Logan, Utah Temple. He enjoyed gardening. He operated a dairy farm for many years. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Florence, of Pocatello; five sons and three daughters, Bruce Davis of Montpelier, Idaho, Grant (Rose) Davis of Montpelier, Gary Davis of Montpelier, Larry (Crystal) Davis of Shoshone, Idaho, Karen (Jeff) Breininger of Evanston, Wyoming, Gloria (Lef) Soland of Friday Harbor, Washington, Lyman (Jamie) Davis of Richmond, Utah, Barbara (Mike) Bartholomew of Pocatello, Idaho; 15 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Golden (Ida) Davis of Bountiful, Utah, R. John (LuAnn) Davis of California, David (Shirley) Davis of Inkom, Idaho, James (Dixie) Davis of West Valley City, Utah, and Norma Jean (Eddie) Marshing of Centerville, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at 11 a.m. in the Weston, Idaho LDS Church. Friends may call Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church in Weston.
