He was born June 6, 1944 in Preston, Idaho, a son of Deran D. and Marva Neeley Stone Cutler. On September 9, 1966, Deran married Elfride Arbter in Gissen, Germany. They were later divorced. He was a millwright at Hill Air Force Base. He also worked as a security guard at Autoliv. Surviving are his daughter, Nikola and his son, Thomas; father Deran D. Cutler, brothers, Rex, Dave, Sam and Kevin Cutler; and his sisters, Lynn, Colleen, Sharon and Kathy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marva Cutler and his brother, Steven Clair Cutler. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Bishop Brian Grigsby officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Preston, Idaho City Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
