    2. Has everyone heard that Ancestry is closing down the Rootsweb mailing lists in March? Is the admin of this list going to try and migrate the group somewhere else? We have started a new Idaho Genealogy message board/mailing list at "Groups.io" ( https://groups.io/g/IdahoGenealogy ) We want to place links to any county groups or specialized Idaho lists or groups on the home page. Of Course, anyone interested in Idaho genealogy is encouraged to join this new group I hope to hear from you RandyC

    1. Lukens / Vollman / Winter / Sholder
    2. Kevin L. Sholder
    3. All, I've found some basic information in the 23 Dec 1945 edition of the Williamsport, PA Grit at the Paper of Record site about the marriage of Jack M. LUKENS (1920 - 2002) son of Dorothy SHOLDER and Wally (Wallis) LUKENS to Loucelia VOLLMAN daughter of C. E. VOLLMAN. In the newspaper article from 1945 it shows that Dorothy was remarried to Eugene WINTER. In the obit for Jack it shows as a survivor one brother, Charles E. WINTER of Orofino, ID. In the SSDI it shows a Dorothy WINTER born 1898 died 1990, the year of birth fits with the 1910 and 1920 census records for Lycoming County, so this is most likely who I am looking for. In Jack's obituary it states nothing about his wife Loucelia VOLLMAN, so I would assume that she is deceased or it was not a very pleasant separation. I'm wondering if anyone knows of Eugene WINTER or Charles E. WINTER? Or Loucelia VOLLMAN? Or her father C. E. VOLLMAN? According to the census of 1920 and 1930, Jack also had a sister Goldie LUKENS it would be helpful if someone knew anything about Goldie as well. Thank you for your time, Kevin L. Sholder Don't wait to make your Son a great man. Make him a great boy. --Unknown <http://www.kevin-sholder.net/genealogy/> LOCATIONS THAT I AM RESEARCHING: NEW YORK (Broome and Greene Counties) OHIO (Franklin, Meigs and Ross Counties PENNSYLVANIA (Berks, Centre, Clinton, Lycoming, Northumberland and Sullivan Counties) GERMANY (Degerloch, Leinfelden, Maulbronn, Remmingsheim, Rosenfeld, Sindelfingen, Walddorf and Wolfenhausen located in Württemberg) TOP (60+) SCHOLDERER / SHOLDER SURNAMES THAT I AM RESEARCHING: (Mostly from Pennsylvania - Barnes, Bartlett, Beck, Bennett, Biichle, Brooks, Calkins, Cannon, Caputo, Carson, Crossley, Diparlo, Dooris, Ellis, Farr, Fox, Fry, Gondek, Greenawalt, Hafer, Harer, Haswell, Hoitink, Huggins, Jarrett, Kelchner, Kelley, Kelly, Kern, Kinley, Klees, Kriner, Lanz, Lewis, Lilley, Livermore, Livingston, Ludwig, Mahaffey, Mecum, Miller, Mosteller, Murray, Myers, Packard, Pasanault, Payne, Pittinger, Pompeo, Pryor, Ranck, Robinson, Roller, Schatz, Schauer, Scholderer, Sholder, Sinclair, Slusher, Stroble, Tieman, Updegraff, Weigle, Williamson, Willits and their connection into the Scholderer / Sholder family lines. 1. Riggs Family
    2. Bruce & Peggy
    3. I'm new to this list. I'm researching my grandfather's family starting with his mother, Mary Emma Riggs, b. 16 Feb 1869 possibly in Oregon; her mother, Nancy Jane Riggs, b 12 Nov 1833 in MO, d. 22 Nov 1906 in Nez Perce Co, ID and buried in Gilbert Cemetery, Clearwater Co, ID. Nancy's husband, Garnett Riggs (they were cousins), b.12 Mar 1828 in MO, died 23 Oct 1904 in Nez Perce Co, is buried in Gilbert Cemetery, Clearwater Co, ID. I have past history on both of them. What I"m looking for is information about the family while they lived in ID and/or Oregon. I don't know when that was, for sure, but I do know that Garnett and Nancy had a land patent in Clearwater Co in 1904 and his father, Jonathan had one in 1904. Mary Emma Riggs married Henry A Bryant and, I think, they inherited the land when Nancy died. They also held land in Nez Perce and Latah counties. Any information about this family or other Riggs families in these areas would be very appreciated. Peggy Heseltine Chico, CA
