She was born on Aug. 14, 1938, in Grace, Idaho, to Rufus R. and Dora Allsop Smith. Sue graduated from Grace High School. She married Jay L. Andreasen on Oct. 27. 1955; they were later divorced and remained good friends; together they had three children who they loved very much. Sue was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mom knew how to love and was loved by many. Mom's life brought many challenges, but with a positive attitude and a big smile, she always chose to be happy. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends, and had a great sense of humor. During her life she fulfilled many goals, but one of her favorites was her years spent managing First Security Bank in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She left a divine legacy and will be deeply missed by her three children, Blaine (LaDean) Andreasen, Evanston, Wyo., Cami (Kyle) Roberts, Layton, Utah, Robli (Jeff) Kennedy, Washougal, Wash.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandsons, and a great-granddaughter to arrive in June. Also surviving are one sister, Janine (Ed) Halstead, Burley, Idaho; two nieces and one great-nephew; and many relatives, including a favorite Aunt Afton. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 21, at noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Friends and family may call at Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs Friday, May 20, from 7 to 8 p.m., and Saturday morning from 10 until 11:30 a.m., at the church in Grace prior to services. The family would like to express their appreciation to Spring Creek Manor of Soda Springs, Idaho, Manor Care of Ogden, Utah, Hospice of Northern Utah and many friends and family members who cared for Sue during her long illness. Donations may be made to Hospice of Northern Utah or Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
