Kelley was born Nov. 4, 1967, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Mike and Sharyl McHugh. She was raised in Soda Springs, Idaho, and graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1984. She married Christopher R. Michel in August 2002 in Rupert, Idaho. She was a very loving wife and mother. She made being a mom her career, choosing to stay home to be with her children. Nothing made her happier than to watch her four children grow. Kelley was a woman of many talents. One that she possessed more than any other was the gift of song. She loved to sing and had an exceptionally beautiful voice. She would spend hours singing karaoke, having fun with family and friends. She was a member of the Railroaders Bowling League. Kelley always had a smile on her face and was one to make light of every situation. She loved to joke around and play games with family. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be surely missed. Kelley is survived by her husband, Christopher; her beautiful children, Kory Rigby, Tylin Hess, Jaxson McKenzie and Morgan Michel; her mother, Sharyl of Evanston, Wyo.; sisters, Michelle (Jon) Kirby of Evanston, Wyo., and Jamie (Chad) McCuiston of Syracuse, Utah; brother, Patrick (Brittany) McHugh of Jacksonville N.C.; and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael McHugh; grandparents, Ed and Evelyn Harbertson; and brother-in-law, Brian Michel. A funeral will be at noon Friday, May 6, 2005, at the Hansen Mortuary Rupert Chapel, 710 Sixth St. Burial will follow at the Sunny Cedar Cemetery in Almo, Idaho. Viewing and visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the mortuary. • Published Thursday, May 5, 2005
