    2. Has everyone heard that Ancestry is closing down the Rootsweb mailing lists in March? Is the admin of this list going to try and migrate the group somewhere else? We have started a new Idaho Genealogy message board/mailing list at "Groups.io" ( https://groups.io/g/IdahoGenealogy ) We want to place links to any county groups or specialized Idaho lists or groups on the home page. Of Course, anyone interested in Idaho genealogy is encouraged to join this new group I hope to hear from you RandyC

Will be fun to look. I haven't used the RAOGK for sometime either...they may be listed on the usgenweb site for the state. The Missoula historical museum is an excellent idea. I did find the Missoula Public Library index...had a little trouble but thanks to you, I knew to keep at it!! Although I don't know that I want to go farther out on Speaks line. How long were they there? I have quite a few St Maries books and quite a few abstracts from the St Maries Gazette/Recorder circa 1905 to the midthirties I'll dig them out who knows maybe something will show up but the Speaks don't seem to have been there long. Curious they all died within a short period, Beulah possibly died from complications following the birth of her child? the others? Do you have death certs? If you go to FAMILYSEARCH.org Idaho death certs 1911-1937 there is some information there not as complete as the state cert but reference #'s included it has some interesting speaks info Sam Speaks mother's name Mary E. MANERA also appears Samuel and Edna lost a child in 1926 two days old, anyway you might want to check that site as well Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
