She was born December 12, 1947, to George Jerome and Dorothy Lois (Green) Hall in Montpelier, Idaho. She lived there until the age of 7 and the family then moved to Burley. She married Aubrey Edgar Johnson; he preceded her in death in 1982. She married Randy Short on March 3, 1984. Josephine worked as a lab tech at the Cassia County Hospital, and did assisted services for her son, Stacy Johnson. She was also a wonderful homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved collecting things. She also loved the ocean, singing, decorating and spending time with her grandchildren. Her family was very important to her. She is survived by her husband, Randy Short, Pocatello; children, Stacey Johnson, Pocatello, Scott Johnson, Twin Falls, Idaho, Brittiney Springsteed, Pocatello, April Johnson, Boise, Idaho, and Craig Short, Rupert, Idaho; two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Hall. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005, at the El Rancho Ward, 300 East Chapel Road, with Curt Doggett conducting. The viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2005, at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave., Pocatello, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church Saturday. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
