He was born Feb. 22, 1990. in Montpelier, Idaho, to Jason Merlin and Kathy Ann Jensen Parker. He was the youngest of three children. He loved his animals (pets), dirt biking with cousins and friends, four-wheeling, snowboarding, foosball, pool with friends, camping with family, hunting, fishing and sports. He paid his way to go to The Aviation Academy in Boise in June 2004. During that time he stayed with his Uncle Chris and Aunt Kim. Uncle Chris took him back and forth to the Academy. Kolby always knew when his aunts or grandma were cooking and always showed up just in time. In other words, his smeller worked real good. He was an excellent student in school. He was involved in Little League, wrestling, and junior jazz basketball. He played football with his Uncle Kyle coaching in 7th grade and also in 9th grade. Kolby is survived by his parents of Montpelier, a sister Elizabeth (Shawn) Olson of Salmon, Idaho, and a brother, Shaun (Sarah) Bills of Scio, Oregon, grandparents, Fay and Alice Ann Jensen, Fred and Ann Tate, Georgetown, Merlin and JoAnn Parker of Montpelier, aunts and uncles, Eddie and Paula Koeven of Dingle, Idaho, Chris and Kim Jensen, of Emmett, Idaho, Chris Christensen and Marla Hennings of Georgetown, Kelly and Debbie Arnell of Montpelier, Mark and Amy Parker of Preston, Sean and Melissa Passey of Montpelier and Christian Tate of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, cousins, Bradden, Melissa, Ashley, Miranda, Brian, Chad, Kara, Meagan, Lynsey, Kayla, Cassie, Lexxi, Aunesty, Jessica, Todd, Cara, Whitney, Britney, Tyler, Shanelle, Austin, Wyatt, Jordyn, Brittney, Wyatt and Rhett, and two nieces, Shana and Kelsey. Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 2, at 1 p.m. in the Georgetown LDS Chapel. Friends may visit with family at Matthews Mortuary on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m . and on Friday at the church in Georgetown from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
