He was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Montpelier, Idaho, the son of John Jacob and Emilie Andergg Nussbaum. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corps in Italy. He married Nellie Virginia Erwin January 6, 1946, in Canton, Ohio. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple Feb. 25, 1958. He worked for the UP Railroad in Pocatello for a period of time, then worked at FMC from March 3, 1956 to Nov. 1, 1986, retiring after 30 years as a machinist. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Virginia Nussbaum, Pocatello, Idaho; five daughters, Patricia (Stephen) Rowland, Pocatello, Idaho, Lyn (William) Marley, Pocatello, Idaho, Susan (James L. ) Price, Boise, Idaho, Amber (Greg) Liggett, Rexburg, Idaho, Lily Ann (Kevin) Glascock, Malad, Idaho; two sisters, Betty (Charles) Burbank, Pocatello, Idaho, Olga LaVatta, Pocatello, Idaho; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Leslie Virginia, a grandson, Seth James Liggett, two brothers, Jack and James, a sister, Mae Cohen. At his request, graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 29 2007 at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, Sec tion 43 East, with military rites provided by the Pocatello Veter ans Honor Guard.
