Regnier, 91, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 in Salt Lake City. She was born May 1, 1915 in Dearbourne, Michigan to Hazel and Frank E. Sears. The family moved to Kemmerer, Wyoming where she spent her childhood and graduated from Kemmerer High School. She met the love of her life, Harold Kenneth Regnier, in the fall of 1933. They were married that December and made their home in Montpelier, Idaho. Together they raised two children, Kenneth and Judy. They ran a successful cable TV business. She was a member of OES and served many offices in that order including Worthy Matron of Betsy Ross chapter #17. She retired in 1976 when they moved to Salt Lake City to be near her daughter and family. They enjoyed 56 years together; they loved to golf and enjoyed their precious grandchildren. She was a member of Cottonwood Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, two brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by son, Harold Kenneth, Jr. Pioneer, California; daughter, Judy King, Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Christopher S. Regnier, Manchester, Missouri; Andrew and Elizabeth King, Salt Lake City; two sweet great-grandsons, Anthony and Rocco Regnier; niece, Tena Sears Varvil, Salt Lake City, UT. Special thanks to the Care Source staff for their compassionate care during the last days of her life. Graveside services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 12 noon March 19, 2007. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to service in Mountain View Memorial Mortuary. Published in the Deseret News on 3/18/2007.
