Jack was born June 6, 1933, in Logan, Utah, the third of five children to John Gleason Kennard and Leona(Davidson) Kennard. He lived and attended schools in Montpelier, Idaho. He was married to Ruth Morris on April 12, 1956. After divorcing in 1959, Jack married Patricia Bourne in 1961 in Delphos, Kan. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple in October 1962. Jack is survived by Patricia, his wife of 45 years; their four children, Mary and Robert Howard of Pasco, David and Suesan Kennard of Boise, Idaho, Michael and Celeste Kennard of Provo, Utah, and Katie Kennard of Pasco. He also is survived by his first son, John, and his wife, Lucy Gann of Magnolia, Texas; and 19 grandchildren. He also is survived by one sister, Margaret Cox, and her husband, Jim, of Pleasant Grove, Utah; one brother, Richard Kenn! ard, and his wife, Jane, of Ogden, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, and older sisters, Louise Kennard and Lanore George. He attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah, and Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz. He worked as a surveyor draftsman, electrical estimator, and electrical project manager throughout the West. Funeral services will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St., Logan, Utah. Interment will follow at the Kennard family site under the trees in the Logan cemetery. A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. April 14 at the Mill Creek LDS church in Everett. Published in the Denver Newspaper Agency on 3/22/2007.
