Poulsen, age 72, passed away September 12, 2006 after a long illness with Multiple Sclerosis in Bountiful, Utah. He was born July 31, 1934 in Paris, Idaho to Louis G. and Gail Stucki Poulsen. Married to Gay Satori on May 26, 1952, later divorced. They had three children, Roger, Laurie and Scott. He attended West High School and worked for the Salt Lake Flour Mills (Cereal Food) as a miller for 40 years. He is survived by his sister, Renee (Dan) Evans; brother, Dennis (Shannon) Poulsen; children, Roger (Arlene) Mair, Kentucky; and Scott Mair, Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at the Paris Idaho Cemetery, Paris, Idaho. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful. Published in the Deseret News on 9/14/2006.
