She was born on December 12, 1926 in Idaho to Ralph and Lillian Findlay. Mom was born and raised in the Pioneer town of Bloomington, Idaho. There she learned to love the outdoors and doing things for ones self. She was probably the most independent person I've ever known. I think, as a youth, mom loved baseball most. But as she grew up she learned to love and excel at sewing, gardening, quilting, and the care and love of animals, especially the kind that were under privileged. The greater its hardship the greater the love and care she would give it. Mom met and married dad (Hal Eldwin Wall) in Salt Lake City in 1944, and later solemnized that marriage in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom had a hard time leaving us, she loved our company and wanted to always be with her kids. She will be missed. Mom is survived by her children: Laural (Jerry) Sheilds, Roy (Jani) Wall, Lee (Leslie) Wall, Scott (Sue) Wall, Dan (Debbie) Wall; 19 grandchildren, and 24 great-grand-children. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 12th at the Riverbend Ward Chapel, 8825 South Monroe Ave (150 West) at 11:30 a.m. There will be a viewing for one hour previous to the services. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery. The family will also receive guests at a viewing, Monday evening at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive from 6-8.
