Flora was born July 20, 1913, in Fish Haven, Idaho, to Joseph Pierce Stock and Annie Jane Cottle. She graduated from business college and worked for the U.S. Forest Service, where she met her husband. She married Fredrick Danial Erickson Nov. 11, 1941, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. Flora played the piano and accompanied Fred, who was an accomplished violinist. She worked in the organizations of the LDS Church, serving as Mutual (Young Women's) president, Primary president, ward organist and also played the piano for Primary for many years until approaching 90 years of age. Mother was extremely good, kind, and unselfish and always put others' needs before her own. She has a testimony of the Savior and is beloved to her friends and family, to whom she was very devoted. She is survived by her children, Grant, Margaret, Steven, Gay, and Eileen; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, who passed away August 28, 2003; sisters, LaPriel, Margery, Dawna, and Beth; and brothers, Glenn and DeVere. Services will be held Saturday, September 3, at 2 p.m. in the Willowcreek LDS 7th Ward, 2215 E. Creek Road. Friends may call Friday, September 2, 6 - 8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
