Susie was born in Nounan, Idaho on June 9, 1918 a daughter of Ora W. and Viola Clara Minning Dukes. She married Herman L. Grunig on October 1, 1935 in Randolph, Utah, he died on January 28, 1976. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. She worked in the Genealogy Library in Brigham for many years. Surviving are her children, Gary H. (Deanna) Grunig, Brigham City, UT; Cherie G. (John) Garfield, Roy, UT; four grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren, brother, Bruce E. Dukes, Quinn, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Herman. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery, 325 S. 300 E., Brigham City.
