He was born November 5, 1924 in St. Charles, Idaho the son of Casper E. and Una Viola Broomhead Hill.He married Louise Trussel in 1943 in the Logan LDS Temple. They had one son, Larry. They later divorced. He married Eunice Errigo. Darell served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific Theater. He was employed at HAFB and retired in 1979. He loved sports, coached Young Men's basketball and enjoyed fishing and horseback riding. Eunice and Darell lived in West Point and enjoyed their winter home in Golden Shores, Arizona, and their summer home in Southern Idaho. He is survived by his brothers, Laurel (Nathel), Ogden; Max (Judy), Sunset; Tharon, San Francisco, CA; step-sons, Steven Errigo, West Point; David Errigo, Ogden; and step-daughter, Carol Thurgood, West Point. Preceded in death by his parents, his son, Larry and brother Howard Keith. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the West Point City Cemetery, 10 North 4025 West.
