Viewing at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs, Idaho, will be Saturday, March 4, from 11:45 a.m. till 1 p.m., with services following. Burial service will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. Duluth was the sixth of eight children born to Orson C. Childs and Margaret Bradshaw Childs. Duluth married Rulon Joseph Evans Sept. 24, 1939. They had two children, RJ William Evans of Pocatello, Idaho, and Nanette Lewis McCoy, now deceased. Duluth always loved the outdoors and spent many hours gardening and picking wild berries. Duluth was the constant companion for her beloved husband, Rulon, and together they enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. In their later years they enjoyed camping with the Good Sams and taking the senior bus to Elko, Nev. When their children, RJ and Nanette were young, they spent many summers camping with family and friends. Duluth loved her six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren with all her heart. Her granddaughter, Penney, remembers her with these words, and I am sure it speaks for all: “Grandma accepted us all, no matter our faults or strengths; her love was so unconditional that only angels could compare. Thank you, Grandma, for the memories that we hold dear and close to our hearts. We know in our hearts that the happiness Grandma must be feeling now is the ultimate reward for living such a full and cherished life. We love you very much; you will be missed.” Duluth was a longtime member of the Royal Neighbors, Rebekah and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Duluth worked for the Chadwick Department Store, the Hobby Shop and dry cleaners for her sister-in-law, Elsie Peterson. Duluth is survived by her sister, Margaret Nielsen of Monticello, Utah; son, RJ Evans and his wife, Ann, of Pocatello; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two greatgreat-grandchildren; and beloved nieces and nephews. Duluth was preceded in death by her parents, Orson C. and Margaret Bradshaw Childs, her husband, Rulon Evans, her only daughter, Nanette Lewis McCoy, six brothers and one greatgrandchild. Duluth is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
