She now is in the arms of her husband Kenneth who preceded her in death 41 years ago. "Mae" was born May 7, 1927 in Cokeville, Wyoming to Alfred and Lucile Rogers. She grew up in Paris, Idaho where she graduated from Fielding High School. Kenneth and Mae were married May 10th, 1946 in Conda, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mae was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities in her ward. Mae was known for her beautiful yard and flowers. She spent several years before the loss of her sight as a beautician in her home. She valued and appreciated her friends and the service given to her throughout her years alone. Survivors include a son, Steven (Gleda) Myers, of San Diego; daughters; Tamera (Neil) Vargason, Thayne, Wyoming; Donna (Alain) Budge, Rexburg, Idaho. Brothers, Bill (Judy) Rogers, Ogden; Tom (Linda) Rogers, Ogden; sisters, Ina (LaThair) Peterson, Ovid, Idaho; JoAnn (Jim) Stephens, Ogden; Mary (Merrill) Piggott, Bountiful. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers Rex and Harold Rogers. Mae dearly loved her 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Val Verda Fifth Ward Chapel, 2633 South 50 West, Bountiful, Utah.
