Born May 16, 1922, in Montpelier, Idaho to Asa Clarence and Lenora Kimball Evans. She was raised in Raymond, Idaho. She married Royal John Gidney May 29, 1941, in the Salt Lake Temple and they lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, Richland, Washington and Grand Junction, Colorado, then she moved to Orem, Utah in 1997. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Survived by children, John (Terry Lynne), Jeanette (Charles) McClellan and Marilyn (David) Smith; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grand-children. Preceded in death by her husband. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 29, 2006, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
